I have all sorts of family coming into town next weekend to see our little baby girl. I’m not excited for my mother-in-law to see 1. how I take care of my baby (which probably doesn’t jive with the way she would do it) and 2. that I don’t clean my house as well as she cleans hers (I’ve come to accept that fact). Aside from that extra stress, I’M EXCITED! There will be all the usual activities when family is together, including lots of eating out and probably some family games. But the most exciting part for me is Sunday afternoon when everyone (30+) will get together at our place for lunch and mingling. Not only has the weather been perfect lately, we have a beautiful deck to accommodate everyone. The best part will be planning the food. I love that.
